Automated Misting Systems

First and foremost, in exploring this site we would like to invite you to learn about our automated misting systems.  This system is an infrastructure of tubes and nozzles that our experts will place around your yard.  (We help you choose the best positions for both strategic and aesthetic reasons.)   It comes with a digital timer that delivers the mist, and for emergencies and/or special occasions, it also comes with a remote, so you will have the ability to clear your yard of pesky mosquitoes and other biting insects with the touch of a button, anytime you like,- twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week!

Less is More:  We call this concept our "less is more" philosophy because the timer enables you to protect your yard for a longer period of time, while at the same time it allows you to use less solution, at a lower expense.  We maintain it.  We supply it.  All you have to do is relax and enjoy!  (The solution is a highly diluted, bio-degradable chrysanthemum derivative.)

Manual Outdoor Services - Fogging

If you have been doing your homework, you may have heard of what people in the industry refer to as manual fogging, barrier treatments, or sprays.  We offer these services as well!  But to expand on that, what we offer is what we call a three-pronged approach.

Our crews will visit your yard wearing a backpack fogger, and manually apply a solution.  The solution we use has two agents, including both 1. a fast-acting agent that breaks down quickly, and 2. a longer lasting agent, that has a longer duration effect.  In addition to those, we apply number 3., a granular product called a larvaecide.   (It treats mosquitoes that are still in the larval stage.)

The difference is that some other companies are known for buying cheaper and less expensive solutions and then applying those to your yard.   Because they are cheaper, they are less effective and they don't do all of the things they need to do to effectively control the insects.  Here at the Mosquito & Pest Xperts, we would want you to know that we are utilizing the premier and most effective solutions that are available in the marketplace today.

Manual Indoor Services - (Pest Control & Exterminators)

Mosquito & Pest Xperts can help you maintain a healthy environment in your home, business, restaurant, or hotel by developing a customized, proactive treatment plan for you.  Your first pest control treatment will involve establishing a defensive perimeter on the outside.  (This treatment is necessary to prevent pests from reentering and reestablishing themselves.) Then we do an interior treatment to get rid of them once and for all.  We do proper maintenance by scheduling regular inspections, providing you with written reports of our findings and treatments.

Mosquito & Pest Xpert’s highly effective fogging program consists of a barrier spray PLUS focused concentration on breeding and harborage areas. The barrier spray has a fast acting agent that works right away.  This treatment kills mosquitoes, no-see-ums, as well as other biting insects.  Upon request, special attention will be paid on areas where ticks may be a problem.

"Why We Changed Our Name"

Paul Salone first started his Mosquito Control company in 2004, under the umbrella of a franchise called Mosquitonix. Over the next two or three years this franchise operation changed it's ownership a couple of times, and also changed it's business philosophy. As a result of those changes, Paul elected to no longer be a part of that franchise group. In order to continue our business, Paul had to come up with a new name, one that would continue to communicate our business objectives, ridding our customers day to day environment of mosquitoes and other pests, i.e Mosquito & Pest Xperts.

Paul and his staff continue the Core Values and Philosophies that have enabled our success in the Carolinas from the very start. Paul and his family are very much a part of these communities and have been here for a very long time, therefore you can rest assured that we are who we have always been and what we do still carries the respect for our customers and for the laws of North and South Carolina.
